The Croatian national team has already reached their maximum at the current continental championship. If we take the group stage, the vice-world champion lost to England, drew with the Czech Republic and made it to the playoffs due to a victory in the game with Scotland. In general, the Croatian national team is playing worse and worse having signs of a generational change every year after a very successful World Cup in Russia. The Spaniards also did not do well in the group stage. Playing all 3 matches at home in Seville, the hosts defeated only the Slovaks with a score of 5:0. Luis Enrique's young and emerging national team drew with the Swedes and Poles while dominating over their opponents during both games. The Croats should take advantage of the experience of the team that took points in the game with Spain and should defend only. Another thing is that very talented Spaniards felt confident after the defeat of Slovakia and should defeat their opponents in the regulation time.
