Borussia Dortmund find themselves in a simple yet difficult situation in Group C before the fifth round of the Champions League. The simple thing is that a win in Lisbon would guarantee the German club second place and the play-offs. The complexity of the situation is that it not that easy to do. We shouldn't forget that Borussia lost to Ajax with the total score of 1-7. And in Portugal, Borussia Dortmund will also be without several key players, because of the injury, suspension and illness of Haaland, Hummels and Azar. On the other hand, Sporting look great in October and November, winning all nine of their games. In the Portuguese championship the team is in the lead along with Porto, and in the Champions League they share second place with their upcoming opponents. Sporting are unlikely to be satisfied with a draw, as in that case they will be inferior to Borussia. Let's bet that Sporting will not lose at home.
