On Sunday, 10 December, Fakel will play at home against Dynamo. Both teams are in a great mood. The club from Voronezh with the smallest budget in the RPL sits in the middle of the table. Dinamo's investment is pushing the team into the fight for the title. There are only four points to the first place.

Dinamo's form is the best club in the RPL at the moment. "White-Blue" won six matches out of seven in all tournaments. Most importantly, the results are backed up by a confident game and a clear course of development. Marcel Licka has made steady progress. The team has defeated opponents with different styles in recent matches. "White-Blue" defeated both the giants in the face of CSKA and Zenit, and opponents who put ten men in defence. The stand-off with Rubin was indicative, of where Lichka's club defended their goal intact.

Another very important factor in favour of Dynamo is the outstanding form of Konstantin Tyukavin. The striker scored in five consecutive matches. Dynamo players haven't done that since 2000. Tyukavin is elated with the new contract. There is certainty in the player's career. At the moment he is the best forward in RPL.

Fakel have their own methods of scoring points. The club began to progress after the appointment of Sergei Tashuyev. Fakel made a leap from the last place to the tenth. The club's style of play is clear. Voronezh has built a defence of eight defenders. The concept is through long passes to two dimensional forwards. Fakel are not amazing, but they squeeze the maximum out of their modest resources.

The unspectacular style of play is also supported by the weather conditions. For example, in the last match against Baltika, the opponents hardly threatened the goal at all. Fakel had 0.24 XG in attack, which is one of the worst figures of the season. Voronezh are third from bottom in the RPL table in terms of offence. But the advanced performance in defence is in line with the top four.

In the match of the eighteenth round, much will depend on the amount of snow. Earlier in Voronezh suffered Spartak, and that was a month ago. Now it may be even colder. The difference in class is levelled, but Dinamo are in too good shape to easily sag under primitive pressure. It is logical to assume that Voronezh will be happy with another zero draw and will actually forget about attacking. Dinamo have a very good chance to get a minimal victory due to individual skill. At the moment, the attacking group is the best in the league. Interestingly enough, Fakel is the most uncomfortable opponent for the Bilo-Syni: no wins in the last three matches. The Muscovites should be motivated to close such a streak.
