Forecast
The teams will exchange goals
The grandees of European soccer, France and Italy, will clash against each other in the most important friendly game of the 1st June. The relevance of this match is, however, a bit undermined by the fact that Italy did not make it to the World Championship. Italy builds a brand-new team: suddenly, the new national team’s coach is Roberto Manchini, who failed the season with Zenit. One cannot express that the coach’s debut was successful: the win against Saudi Arabia with minimal score advantage is below the level of expectations. France without extra effort won against Ireland, and the French roster was curious for the match as was primarily composed from reserves. Their roster against Italy is guaranteed to include Pogba, Griezmann and Dembele as the opponent is tougher. The Italian roster will include Mario Balotelli, whom is most likely to play with zealous enthusiasm. The forward scored in the very first match after he returned back from injury, and the French field is very familiar to him: all of that increases the Italian chances of scoring a goal. Bookmakers seem to favor France, but it would be prudent to bet on the number of goals.
