Bitter rivals France and Portugal will lock horns in the third round of the "group of death". It was France and Portugal that met in the final of the last European Championship to produce a dramatic extra-time victory for Portugal. The fight will take place in Budapest with crowded stands. At the same time, a slight advantage regarding the venue of the match will be given to the French, who on Saturday played at the "Pushkas-Arena" against the local team. The Portuguese will come to the capital of Hungary from Munich, perhaps not in the best psychological condition after a thrilling 4-2 defeat to Germany. The opponents played each other twice last fall in the Nations League. Following the results of two matches, Portugal did not score a single goal - 0: 0 and 0: 1. Given that Germany is likely to beat Hungary, and Portugal's third place may not be enough to advance to the playoffs, Ronaldo and company will have to open up and actively attack one of the most powerful and organized teams at EURO 2020. We are backing France in this contest.
