The nominal hosts of the opening match of the European Championship will be Turkish players, but the match will be held in Rome, which guarantees Italy more comfortable conditions. Besides the factor of home field, it is the phenomenal shape, which allows this team to have a series of 27 official and friendly matches without defeat in favour of the Italians in the upcoming match. The Turkish national team has been unstable in recent years. For example, the team competed on an equal footing with France in the selection for the EURO in 2019, while in 2020 they are relegated from the league to the League of Nations, and they defeated the Netherlands and Norway with a total score of 7:2 in the opening matches of the selection for the 2022 World Cup, after which, having a coefficient of 1.16, they lost points in the game with Latvia in Istanbul. Where there is no stability, a class enters the arena. There is no doubt that Italy will succeed in the upcoming match, but if we take the match of the "warm-blooded" national teams at least one goal can be scored already in the first half.
